SALT 2023

On April 4, for one full day...Grace Academy will send over 450 students, teachers, staff, and volunteers to partner with local organizations and serve in a variety of ways across the Georgetown area.

Working by grade level, students may be found around town helping with projects for the Georgetown Police Department, cleaning up and rehabilitating local parks, planting flowers for the citizens of BiG, improving Key 2 Free living quarters, delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, and more. SALT is a day of hard work and heart change that leads to blessing others, and being blessed.

Along with serving our community, SALT also encourages a spirit of giving. It allows families and friends to participate by blessing the school with the financial means to implement these service projects. So, instead of selling wrapping paper or walking a 5K to raise money, we are asking students to seek pledges. These pledges will generate critical funds for individual service projects as well as fortify the Grace Academy Building Fund.

Not only does SALT benefit our community, it teaches our students, and enriches our school.
