Tuition Scholarships

Grace Academy offers need-based tuition scholarships to families in order to reduce their tuition costs.  The board is committed to making the classical Christian education that Grace provides as accessible as possible and to maintaining a school community that includes families of various socio-economic backgrounds.  To that end, each year 8-10% of the total operating budget is set aside for need-based tuition scholarships.  Families qualify for tuition scholarships based upon both the FACTS analysis of their application and available funds.

To be considered for a tuition scholarship, families must also submit an application for admission to Grace Academy. They then must apply for a tuition scholarship through FACTS Financial Aid Assessment and pay the FACTS application fee of $35. FACTS is a secure and confidential service that uses federal tax documents and other financial information provided by the family to determine the scholarship amount to be awarded.

Once the FACTS application and supporting documents have been verified by FACTS, FACTS generates a report that is then analyzed by an anonymous Tuition Scholarship Committee in order to make final tuition scholarship award determinations. All identifying family information is removed from the FACTS reports viewed by the committee, thus making tuition scholarship applications anonymous and confidential. Families receive notification of their tuition scholarship awards in mid-March.

The deadline for tuition scholarship applications (including all supporting documents) is February 1. FACTS verifies an application and generates a report only once all required supporting documents have been received. Only verified applications are considered by the Tuition Scholarship Committee. Applications received after February 1 will be considered on an individual basis as funding permits.
