Hannah Ballinger

Communications Specialist

Hannah Ballinger joined the Grace Academy staff in 2017. With a Bachelor’s in English and Journalism from Thomas Edison State University, Hannah serves as the Media and Communications Specialist. Her previous experience includes serving with a non-profit camp ministry that emphasized leadership, Christian worldview, and apologetics. Hannah delights in the beauty of classical education and enjoys capturing snapshots of Grace students as a part of God’s story.

Janae Brill

Janae Brill

Business Manager

Mrs. Brill completed coursework in Business and Accounting at Crafton Hills College and has over 30 years of experience working in accounting. In addition to balancing the books, she also serves as an excellent Grace Academy historian given that she has worked at Grace since 2005. Mrs. Brill also plays an important role in Grace history in that she is the mother of Grace Academy’s first graduate.

Brad Cauley

Brad Cauley

Director of Student Affairs

Mr. Cauley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Outdoor Leadership from Texas A&M University. He has over 10 years of experience as a pastor and has worked at Grace since 2011. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Cauley also teaches a number of science classes in the Upper School and serves as Grace’s resident outdoor and wildlife expert. Students benefit from his love of learning as he introduces them to the wonder of watching chicks hatch, performs dissections whenever he can, and points students toward Christ through the wonders of creation.

PC Edwards

PC Edwards

Athletic Director

Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education-PE and Biology from Asbury College and has a Texas Teacher Certification for Biology, Composite Science, P.E., and Health. He has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and coach and has been the Athletic Director at Grace since 2012. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Edwards also teaches a number of science classes in the Upper School. Whether he is leading a lab experiment or coaching the final minutes of an intense fourth quarter, Mr. Edwards models Christian character and godly sportsmanship to his students.

Yvette Hargrove

Yvette Hargrove

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Hargrove holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin.  She was a classroom teacher for five years and a homeschooling mother for eleven years.  Mrs. Hargrove has been at Grace Academy since 2011 as a parent, substitute teacher, and volunteer with the cross country and track programs.  She has worked as an administrative assistant since 2017.

Alan Hart

Alan Hart

Director of Facilities

Mr. Hart holds a Guitar Specialist Certificate from Berklee School of Music and completed coursework in Church Music Ministry at Howard Payne University. He has a broad range of experience as a worship pastor as well as in the construction trades. He has been the Director of Facilities at Grace since 2014. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Hart also teaches an Upper School music elective and organizes the music for Upper School chapel. Students enjoy learning from such an accomplished musician and helping to lead worship in chapel under his tutelage.

Al Popp

Al Popp

Assistant Head of School

Al Popp holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classics from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Regent University.  He also has a Massachusetts Teacher Certification for High School Mathematics.  Mr. Popp has worked in education as a teacher and administrator for over 15 years and has been at Grace since 2017.  In addition to his administrative responsibilities he also teaches Upper School math, and he enjoys working with both faculty and students as part of the learning community at Grace Academy.

Rebecca Price

Rebecca Price

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Price studied Secondary Education at Concordia University in Austin with an emphasis in literature and communication.  She taught second grade at Grace Academy from 2004-2008 and returned to Grace in 2015 as an administrative assistant.  She also has been active on both the children’s ministry team and the women’s ministry team at her church for nearly a decade.  Mrs. Price enjoys her many roles at Grace as receptionist, unofficial “nurse,” tutor, and teacher aide, and she loves getting to know each and every student.

Whitney Robinson

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Robinson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Houston Baptist University. She loves classical education and classically homeschooled her children for 11 years while serving as both teacher and book representative with a nationwide classical homeschool program. Mrs. Robinson joined the Grace Academy team in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant.

Susan Schwab

Susan Schwab

Director of Admission and College Advising

Mrs. Schwab holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Stetson University as well as a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration-Student Personnel from Florida State University. She has nearly 10 years of experience working at the college level in both residence life and admissions. Mrs. Schwab came to Grace in 2007, and she fills many roles as she works with new families on admission, Upper School students on college applications, and also assists in the school’s marketing program. Her in-depth understanding of both classical Christian education and the mission and vision of Grace Academy are invaluable assets that are appreciated by all.
