Grace Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Head of School, Mr. Andy Cantwell. Following an exhaustive board and administrative review process, Mr. Cantwell was confirmed by the school’s Board of Directors and will officially begin his role on July 1, 2019.
“Mr. Cantwell has the wisdom, experience, and leadership skills necessary to assure the operational health of our unique school, cultivate our first-class team of faculty and staff, and fulfill our mission of glorifying God by serving parents in providing their children a distinctly Christ-centered, academically excellent, classical education as a foundation for lifelong learning,” says Hayden Johnson, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Cantwell comes to Grace with an extensive leadership and educational background. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA, a Juris Doctor degree in law and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University, and a School Business Management degree from USC. Additionally, Mr. Cantwell has experience in finance, operations, and administration management. He currently supervises 2,500 students and eight schools in Ojai, CA and has a deep commitment to furthering the classical education movement through his involvement with the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) and the Society for Classical Learning (SCL).
